Another card has arrived at their new home...

The best thing about Postcrossing is the emails I receive when a card has arrived at its new home. I found some 'vintage' postcards; they were reproductions of adverts from yesteryears. One of the cards I sent was  GB-1012221  and I am glad that the recipient liked the card. Also, the card I sent to Taiwan has arrived  GB-1012217  - this card was a "colour yourself" card. I have also registered for a Travelling Notebook which will be starting in New Zealand. I do not know if it will ever get to me; as I am still waiting for others to arrive. Is anyone on Munzee or Geocaching? I would love to connect with you all! Stamp You All Later... Jemma

Latest Cards - arriving here and away!

Ooh #Postcards via #Postcrossing - two from Netherlands, one from Poland and one from Germany #PostcardsFromAroundTheWord A post shared by Jemma | JemmaJ (@jemmajh) on Jun 16, 2018 at 12:59am PDT It is exciting to be getting some Postcrossing mail; it brightens up my day. Here is what I have received over the last week: DE-7281059 NL-4136808 PL-1486025 NL-4136807 The cards that I have sent; which are now in their new homes are: GB-1012231 GB-1012233 GB-1012228 GB-1012230 GB-1012225 GB-1012216 They are in order of them being registered; this means I can now send another seven cards!

Where do I get my postcards from?

There are many places where I can buy my postcards from and I thought that I would share some of the places... The local cards I get from my Post Office and stationery shop; these cards are multi-view cards of my little town' but after a while, they can get a little boring. I have also ordered some postcards from VistaPrint , but that was many years ago. It was a simple design back then. There are many different designs now; I am thinking about creating some in the coming months. I have also ordered some postcards from PostalLove ; a Polish-based online shop. There are MANY different designs and now they are selling Air Mail stickers; which are super cute! There are always adverts on the main Postcrossing website; that advertise Postcard sellers. I need to grab the websites and have a look at all of their cards. I will keep you all posted (ha ha!) about where I will be buying my Postcards from... Stamp You Later... Jemma

It has been awhile...once again!

Hello everyone! I apologise for the MASSIVE length of time I have been away from this Blog and Postcrossing. Life was hectic and I was unable to keep up with everything! However; it has all changed! Changed for the better! More time and energy to do the things I REALLY want to do! Today; I registered for 18 addresses: USA x3 Germany x3 Taiwan x1 Russia x3 Finland x2 Belarus x1 Canada x1 Portugal x1 China x1 Morocco x1 I have found many postcards in my "to be sent" collection; I just hope that the cards arrive safely to their new homes! Look what arrived on the 19th January..one of the Travelling Notebooks I am taking part in within the Postcrossing forums... A photo posted by Jemma | JemmaJ (@jemmajh) on Jan 18, 2017 at 3:03am PST I have already written in and it is ready for the next person...I just need to add a couple of things before it heads off. Also, today I received two postcards.   DE-5880559   US-4435754   I am now able to send 18 cards...how exciting! However, I do currently have SEVEN expired cards. I am rather sad about that, as the oldest is March 2016. I will be sending them with the new eighteen I have just got the addresses for. I have also updated some of the photos in my Flickr account - head over and see the new images! ~ Jemma

Sorry; it's been a while!!

Hey everyone, sorry that it has been a while since I last posted about my Postcrossing adventures around the globe. It was actually May when I last posted. I do apologise about that. Some updates; I was made 'inactive' on the project website as I had not sent or received any cards. I have now all active again and read to flood people's postboxes! Sadly the travelling notebooks I signed up for via the forums, never happened as they were either lost or never passed on the next participant - which is a shame! I have shown interest in a new one though -  A day in the life  - I am currently the only participant (other than the organiser); I am hoping that there will be some more people sign up soon! I will also be holding a lottery in the new year, but what to do? I will keep you all posted! I currently I have 17 postcards travelling and one expired card that I have resent. Fingers crossed it will arrive safely!
